Twelve Days of Deathwing - Part Four

Just Because You Are A Character Does Not Mean You Have Character...

So this picture teaches us the important lesson that painting only the space marine's eyes and doing that poorly can leave an honorable battle brother looking rather clownish...

Happy New Year!  Here to buff the saving throws of the Deathwing along with adding some whirling halberd attacks of their own, today we see the Apothecary and Champion of the Deathwing.  Word on the meta-streets of competitive WH40K is that thanks to the various changes made to 9th edition, Deathwing Terminators are now hard to kill, and the Apothecary's Feel No Pain buff will make that resistance to death even stronger.  For the modeling of these two, I used some torso twist and deliberate head placement to give them both a sense of movement.  As these recently constructed Terminators march by each day and I realize how much bone white painting is in my future, $25 for a rattle can of Xandri Dust is looking like a good investment.

• Deathwing Knights - one Master and eight Knights armed with Power Mace and Storm Shield. - Built from one of my Deathwing box sets. 
• Terminator Squad - 5 man squad with Storm Bolters and Power Fists, one marine with Assault Cannon - These will be the Deathwing Terminators from the Dark Vengeance Box Set.
• Terminator Squad - 5 man squad with Storm Bolters and Power Fists, one marine with magnetized Assault Cannon/Heavy Plasma Cannon - These are the Nova Open 2019 rescues.
• Terminator Squad - 5 man squad with Storm Bolters and Power Fists, one marine with Assault Cannon - These are two RT Deathwing pewter minis, plus three lead RT 1st generation Terminators, they will be painted as part of the WH40K 2nd Edition painting challenge Season 2.
• Terminator Close Assault Squad -  5 marines with Lightning Claws, one also armed with a Cyclone Missile Launcher. - Nova 2019 rescues with Deathwing bits.
• Terminator Close Assault Squad -  5 marines with Thunder Hammers and Storm Shields, one marine armed with a Heavy Flamer.
• Brother Azmodel - Relic Contemptor Dreadnought of the Deathwing - completed in 2019.
